Research

My research interest is in the theory and practice of machine intelligence, especially in the context of AI4Health. In particular, I focus on two major themes:

  1. Algorithms. How do we develop generalizable, scalable, and efficient multimodal and generative models?
  2. Interactions. How do we foster synergistic human–AI collaboration in critical settings such as healthcare?

I am advised by Dr. Mathias Unberath (JHU) and Dr. Chenyu You (SBU). I am mentored by Sue Min Cho (JHU), Yiqing Shen (JHU), and Qin Ren (SBU).
